Following a trip to the William Kentridge Exhibition in Peninsular Arts Centre at Plymouth University students created their own political statements in print. Various image sources where researched and most students chose to take a current news story and monotype this by using the news paper images to trace around. Styrofoam plates were also inscribed and prints layered, to very good effect. Having decided on the political message they wished to talk about through their prints a small section of one of their prints was used to make a pin badge and spread the message!
