Jelly Printing Workshop January 2017
Three lovely ladies had bought Vouchers at a Christmas craft Fair in 2016 and came along to have a go at Jelly Printing. One lady had done printing before but the other two had not. In fact they were all Jelly Printing Virgins! Which always makes it a fun session, I love to watch as participants become more adventurous and experimental.
Details about this workshop
All of them had bought along stencils and masks they had made themselves which was great because this means that any printing they do reflects their own interests. participants are always welcome to use my stencils but I do feel sometimes that the work they produce looks very similar to mine. Its nice to be individual.
The ladies spent two hours and whilst initially tentative, quite naturally, all of them really relaxed once they had got a feel for the process of printing from the Jelly plate and produced some interesting patterns and textures with their stencils.
Some time later, incidentally, I saw several of these prints for sale as cards….I bought quite a few. Loved them!!!!
