This workshop facilitated by myself introduced new PUP members to mono printing from Jelly plates. Monoprints from Jelly offer a painterly approach using masks and stencils in layers. The results are surprising and intriguing and a useful way of creating textures and abstract images which can be utilised further digitally in illustration of graphic projects. It is another approach which students can easily replicate and does not need a press to achieve.
