Start with Art a cross curriculum workshop perfect for a learning environment.
This particular session was hosted by Waterstones on behalf of Plymouth City Museums Outreach program whilst it is undergoing alterations. A great morning and afternoon session in Waterstones Book Shop working with families and Making Books Brilliant. I had designed four different templates one each for Sir Walter Scott, Gertrude Benham and George Carter Bignall. Each template is based on how they are known. So, George Carter Benhams story template has a fly and a magnifying glass for instance. So people choosing this template build a story around the images adding words and pictures as they like; thus creating their own story about or in the voice of George Carter Benham. This type of workshop would work equally in a learning environment. Bringing together the subjects of History and creative writing on a cross curriculum platform.
